On 11 August 2009 the Government of Liechtenstein and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland signed an agreement regarding cooperation on tax issues. The UK agreement also contains a bilateral disclosure program valid only for the financial centre of Liechtenstein.
This disclosure program, the so-called "Liechtenstein Disclosure Facility" (LDF), offers those with tax liabilities in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland the possibility to regulate their tax affairs related to the UK quickly and under favourable conditions.
